Day 25 of the Redefine Possible Bootcamp
Day 25: Back to the drawing board
For day twenty-five on the Women Techmakers 'Redefine Possible' Accountability Bootcamp, I attended a design call where the host emphasized the importance of thorough research before creating any identity design. This prompted me to look at other brands and reconsider my approach. I realized I need to go back to the drawing board - create a mood board and test different fonts to craft a more coherent identity.
While I had chosen this brand to target young people, I hadn't specifically defined the gender focus. Now I've decided to definitely target women, which was something I'd considered but hadn't explicitly defined. This clarity is giving me better direction with the project.
I'm also researching similar brands for inspiration. Though I want to maintain a youthful vibe, I'm still exploring the best way to represent the brand while solving their problem of reaching younger customers through design. I'm reconsidering my font choice of Marhey and am open to changing it if I find something that fits better with the overall brand identity.
